This project is an contemporary draft of an “Architypus”, for an existing situation on a hillside in a forest with a perfect view to the ocean. As an contemporary house, the concept exhibits the ways of dealing with preexisting, traditional housing forms. The draft, which develops out of the archaic basic forms or the architecture, is set to clearly represent itself as structure of the present.

The spatial quality of the contemporary residential type, consists in it´s minimalistic incorporation of all functions in avery small space of 85 square meters. Situated on a hillside with 30° gradient, it is staggered in levels into define single areas of usages and thus forms a continues inhabitation of the house.

“The highlight of this house, is the gallery, which is opening up to both sides of the building and it is accsessed through a hidden single staircase in the wall.”
